Last 8th-grade Retreat at St. Charles Seminary
The 8th-grade class traveled to St. Charles Seminary to spend time with the seminarians, listening to their stories and playing games on the campus. Because the seminary will be moving from St. Charles Borromeo to their new Lower Gwynedd Campus, this was the last time students would be visiting Wynnewood. -
Catholic War Veterans Spelling Bee won by HR 8th-grader

Sons of the American Revolution Poster Competition Winners
One HR student placed 3rd across all the schools that participated in the region for the Philadelphia Continental Chapter-Sons of the American Revolution Poster Competition. Three students placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd within their class and one of those placed 3rd in the regional competition across all schools that participated. Students received a ribbon and a cash award. Mark and Gabe, shown here with Dr. Elliott and Mr. Jim Leming, of the SAR presented the awards. Students entered the contest in March and were awarded the prizes prior to summer break. -
Two 8th-graders Recognized as Neumann Scholars
The Connelly Foundation provides the opportunity for approximately 900 eligible eighth graders representing 112 parochial grade schools in five counties to compete for a four-year scholarship to the Archdiocesan high school of their choice. Holy Rosary Reional was fortunate to have two students, Grace and Mary Grace, receive the scholarship beginning with the 2024-25 school year. Congratulations!
