One of our students' favorite activities is buddying with their Prayer Partners. Students in the lower grades are paired with students in the upper grades. Throughout the school year, they enjoy doing things together. Some partner activities include sitting together for the celebration of Mass and prayer services, creating holiday crafts as a team, reading together, science activities, and of course partnering for Catholic Schools Week festivities. The relationship is equally delightful for the younger students and the older students.
Students in grades four through eight have the opportunity of becoming a member of our Student Council. After the 'why I would make a good leader' presentation by the candidates, the student body casts their votes for the Council. A student council member's responsibilities include acting as ambassadors, meeting with their moderators and the administration to present student body ideas, planning and executing pep rallies, moderating special student Catholics Schools Week activities such as the Talent Show, and assisting with fundraisers for charitable causes.
Holy Rosary students in grades Kindergarten to 8th may participate in an after-school bowling club at Facenda Whitaker Lanes in East Norriton. The students are transported to the bowling alley by bus where they enjoy two hours of bowling once a week. Two ten-week sessions are offered during the school year.
