Holy Rosary employs a full-time Resource Room teacher. The Resource Room teacher works closely with the classroom teachers to determine appropriate learning goals for students with individualized needs. For example, Wilson Reading strategies may be taught to students whose foundational reading skills are weak. One on one and small group instruction is provided to support those students 3 or more times a week, depending on the child's needs. Resource Room students' academic progress is closely monitored and documented to keep track of growth and guide future goal-setting.
Holy Rosary's Resource Room also doubles as a Sensory Room. Materials are readily available for students with sensory needs, or who simply need a short break from their classrooms.
