On September 5, 2012, Holy Rosary Regional Catholic School opened its doors to four hundred students from the Plymouth Meeting, East Norriton, and Norristown areas. These students came together from Epiphany of Our Lord, St. Titus, and Our Lady of Victory (previously St. Paul and Holy Saviour). The joining of the schools across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia was recommended by a group of professionals known as the Blue Ribbon Commission. After the merger, it was determined by the Archdiocese that Conshohocken Catholic would also be invited to unite with Holy Rosary.
The name Holy Rosary was chosen by the founding team because they saw the Blessed Mother as the “bridge” between the converging schools. Mary, who is the perfect disciple of Jesus, was chosen as the ideal role model. The students and staff of our school have a special devotion to the Blessed Mother and honor her during the months of October and May when we pray the rosary together each week. The May Procession is the culmination of our reverent tribute to Mary.
