Northeastern Music provides instrumental instruction in grades 3-8. In 3rd-grade the String Family is offered -- violin, viola, cello, bass, and electric bass. Starting in 4th-grade students can choose an instrument they wish besides the string instruments, including flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, drums, bells, or oboe. Students learn how to play their instruments and how to read music and perform in an ensemble. Students perform in two concerts each school year.
